Affiliate Disclosure

Characteristics.in is, and is intended to remain, free to read. To help support the cost of researching, writing, and maintaining the site, some pages may from time to time include affiliate links, sponsored placements, or paid partnerships. This page explains exactly what that means and how it works.
What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a link to a third-party product or service that, if you click it and go on to make a purchase or take a qualifying action, may earn Evavel Private Limited a small commission from the retailer or service, at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the same whether or not you use our link.
How this affects our content
Whether a link on a page is an affiliate link never changes the substance of that page. Our characteristics entries and blog posts are written first, based on our own research into what genuinely defines a subject; any relevant product or resource link is added afterward, only where it is a natural, useful fit for what the reader is already looking for. We do not accept payment in exchange for changing what an entry says.
Sponsored content and partnerships
Where a page, section, or post is sponsored, or created as part of a paid partnership, we intend to label it clearly as sponsored or as a partnership at the point where it appears, so you always know when content has a commercial relationship behind it.
Product and affiliate partnership enquiries
If you represent a business and are interested in a product feature, affiliate arrangement, or sponsorship on this site, we're happy to hear from you — see our Contact page for how to reach us and what to include.
Your trust matters more
We would rather have fewer affiliate links than let them compromise the accuracy or usefulness of an entry. If you ever feel a link on this site doesn't belong, or reads as pushed rather than genuinely relevant, please tell us — that feedback goes directly toward what we keep and what we remove.
